Brief introduction of drivers

What is the driver
The motor driver is essentially a switch, because the driving current of the motor is very high or the voltage is very high, so when the general switch or electronic component can not be used as the switch for controlling the motor, a so-called driver should be added to control the motor.
The function of the motor driver
The function of the motor driver is to control the duty ratio by controlling the rotation angle and running speed of the motor, so as to control the idle speed of the motor.
Function of Brushless Motor Driver
Brushless DC motor drivers are widely used in frequency converters to improve system performance (speed range and precision) and reduce costs. Because of adding pulse input interface, it is more convenient to transform the inverter system, and adopting speed closed loop, the system performance is significantly improved without increasing the cost.
Use of driver
After connecting the motor power line, Hall line and driving power line, could start trial operation. First, select the driver as the open-loop operation mode, jump the potentiometer to the minimum (the REF potentiometer can be turned counterclockwise), then power on the driver, slightly increase the REF input end, and the motor should move and stop. Now, it could select the driver as closed-loop mode and adjust the potentiometer to run the motor.
In online operation, first adjust the gain adjustment potentiometer to 0, then input the maximum signal (pulse frequency or PWM or analog signal), and slowly increase the gain input end until the motor reaches the required maximum speed. Now, the input signal can be adjusted to adjust the motor.
