Main process of PCBA test
PCBA test refers to the test of IC burning, circuit on-off and current, voltage and pressure on PCBA board. There are many uncontrollable factors in the production process of PCBA, so testing is a necessary link to strictly control the shipment quality.
PCBA test mainly includes ICT online test, FCT function test and aging test.
This is the general order: program burning →ICT test →FCT test → aging test.
- Program Burning
After the welding process of the front end of PCBA board is completed, engineers begin to burn programs on the MCU in PCBA board, so that the MCU can realize specific functions. - ICT Test
ICT test is mainly to test the open circuit, short circuit and soldering of electronic components of PCBA by contacting the test probe with the test point of PCBA. ICT test has high accuracy, clear instructions and wide application range. - FCT Test
FCT test can test the environmental, current, voltage, pressure and other parameters of PCBA, and the test content is comprehensive, which can ensure that all parameters of PCBA board meet the design requirements of designers. - Aging Test
The aging test can ensure the stability of the product by continuously energizing the PCBA board, simulating the user’s use scene, detecting some defects that are not easy to find, and checking the service life of the product.
PCB can only be packaged and shipped after a series of PCBA tests.
